Last week, Generix Group participated in Salons Solutions, perhaps the most important event dedicated to the issue of document dematerialization, especially with the sweeping changes brought about by the Chorus project and Macron Law.
Held in Paris last week, on the 20-22 September, Salon Solutions was a chance for us to meet some of our larger clients and to discuss the changes brought about by the Macron Law, French legislation that will require all large organizations to implement electronic invoicing by 2020.
At the event, Christophe Viry (PMM Collaboration Multi Enterprises) conducted a roundtable about EDI (electronic data interchange), and there were workshops and discussions about various EDI solutions.
Macron Law and Chorus Project
The event was timed to ensure large French companies are prepared for the sweeping changes in legislation that will not only mean they will be required to fully implement electronic invoicing by 2020, but also have to connect themselves to Chorus, the financial information system used by the French government, starting in January next year.
Indeed, many things are in flux in invoice and EDI dematerialization at the moment, and as a major player with a certificated technical solution, we want to ensure we are at the forefront of any changes in this area, so that we can continue to assist our clients with their EDI requirements.
