The Publisher commits to ensuring that the collection and processing of your data from the www.generixgroup.com website is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and with France’s IT and Freedoms Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and updated since (loi Informatique et Libertés), relative to IT systems, files and personal freedom, in its current version as well as ensuring compliance with recommendations issued by the National Commission for IT Systems and Freedoms (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés or CNIL).

1. Every form that you fill-in, whether in paper or electronic format, limits the collection of personal data to what is absolut

  • Why do we collect this data (purpose)?
  • Whether this data is required or optional for processing your request,
  • Who can become aware of it (generally, only the Publisher, unless otherwise stated on the form where forwarding this data to a third party is necessary for processing your request),
  • Your rights under IT Systems and Freedoms regulations and how to exercise those rights with the Publisher.

2. Generally,

  • Any named information collected through our forms (contact information, downloaded documents, etc.) are intended solely for the Publisher. They will only be released outside of the organization for data processing purposes or to meet our legal and regulation compliance requirements.

 

  • Any personal data collected by the Publisher are processed in line with secure protocols and allow the Publisher to manage requests received in their IT applications. From this moment on, the Publisher takes every necessary measure to protect the confidentiality of the personal data relating to you. The Publisher cannot however ensure the confidentiality of any messages that you can send over an open telecommunications network.

 

  • As an International Group, personal data that we collect may be accessible to every entity and subsidiary company belonging to the Generix Group, in line with European regulations covering the protection of personal data.

You also have the right to oppose, for legitimate reasons, any processing of data relating to you.
