[Opinion] Where are we heading with logistics in 2017?

On March 7th of this year, customers and partners representing approximately 70 companies gathered in Oporto, Portugal for Generix Group’s second annual edition of Generix 4U, under the theme of digital (r)evolution. A highly anticipated and significant event for our team, Generix 4U allowed Generix Group Portugal to provide an overview of our commitments to clients and partners, as well as our current and future visions in terms of improved models and technologies.
Featuring presentations and introductions given by Marc Defretin, Partner and Country Manager; Mário Maia, Sales Manager; Eduardo Bentes, Business Development and Channel Manager; and João Cachulo, SaaS and IT Manager, Generix Group Portugal showcased the company’s innovative integration platform, the Collaborative Purchase to Pay solution, as well as our vision of maintaining the all-important human factor in the rapid evolution of digital transformation.
Our team members were joined by various partners and clients throughout these presentations, as well as during an organized round table. All in all, it was a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate how our solutions have helped innovate and consolidate processes, and to share knowledge, as well as brainstorm new ideas and solutions as we head into the future. Luis Ferreira, Generix Group partner and Administrator of Grupo Trivalor, along with IT Managers representing ERT Textil, Sika, Staples, Alliance Healthcare, and the General Manager from Gasair, all made valuable contributions to the agenda, providing compelling information, knowledge, and ideas under the theme of “The role of technology in process optimization.” We love nothing more than a productive and collaborative round table where everyone walks away with a greater sense of innovation and vision than they came with!
This unique and inspiring event gave us at Generix Group the chance to illustrate our true value in the market, and prove how important it is to work together alongside our partners and customers towards shared goals driven by innovation, collaboration, and exchange: all according to a clear global vision and aim in mind. Innovation will always be our driving force and events such as these help us strengthen our reputation as leading experts in digital commerce on a global scale.
