Across Logistics integrates Generix’s WMS with platform Shopify e-commerce
Across Logistics, a 3PL company with a full suite of services specifically targeted at international logistics, integrates the warehouse management system of Generix Group, a publisher of collaborative supply chain solutions, with the platform of Shopify, a Canadian e-commerce company that is responsible for offering a range of services to simplify online store management for small merchants.
Across Logistics continues its growth strategy from a well-established position as a provider of a set of specific services such as customs warehousing and dangerous goods, refrigerated, perishable, etc..The objective of Across Logistics is to continue improving its integral service in each step of the processes, opening itself to always offer the best logistic service, following its rule of not transmitting problems to its clients but offering them solutions.
At the beginning of 2021 Across Logistics opted for Generix Warehouse Management System (WMS) in order not only to improve the operation of its warehouse in Valencia but also to be able to offer service to its e-commerce customers. At this moment Across Logistics is already acting with some international customers on the other side of the Atlantic as a distribution hub for Europe and in this task the Warehouse Management System, Generix WMS is a fundamental tool for warehouse management and invoicing.
The warehouse management system usually works in connection with the respective ERPs of the customers, however, the novelty on this occasion is that the WMS has been directly integrated with Shopify Market Place, one of the fastest growing platforms in e-commerce and that some of Across Logistics' customers use for their business operations. This first integration with a different tool demonstrates the strength and versatility of the Generix WMS and its ability to serve the needs of online logistics, with its special characteristics and requirements.
