Devolving a digital marketplace requires that national procedures be unified from a regulatory and technological standpoint. Being aware of this, the European Commission has implemented the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), a financing program administered by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA).
The CEF finance projects competing to spread their state-of-the-art standards and technical components amongst the 28 member states. The plan acts in favor of cross-border digital exchanges in such fields as archiving, electronic invoicing, electronic signatures, data transport, digital identification, etc.
Generix Group will participate in the EURINV consortium financed by the CEF program
Generix Group is a key player on the European digital invoicing stage. The company was recently selected to participate in the CEF 2018-EU-IA-0073: EURINV consortium on “Implementation of the European standard within cloud e-invoicing platforms.” The project is animated by the Universitat Politècnica de València and consulting firm LMT. The consortium also gathers six additional electronic invoicing operators spread across Europe: Germany, Belgium, Spain, Finland, Italy and the Netherlands and two public entities located in Ireland and Slovakia, respectively.
The goal of EURINV is to put those involved in the European Standard CEN 16931 to action—essentially those who operate invoicing platforms—with regard to a unified data model for electronic invoicing. The standard includes two syntaxes selected by the CEN to deploy e-invoices across the EU: UBL 2.1 and UN-CEFACT CrossIndustryInvoice.
Generix Group supports its clients facing regulatory and interoperability requirements
By selecting Generix Group, the European Commission has addressed the thousands of companies that use its electronic invoicing services, thus ensuring vast deployment of new European standards.
“We aim to allow our clients to remain in line with new requirements and facilitate interoperability towards various European countries” — Christophe VIRY, Product Marketing Manager for GENERIX Group.
By meeting interoperability rules between electronic invoice operators, GENERIX Group aims to simplify the daily life of its clients while also improving their productivity.
“Today, companies doing business in multiple European countries are required to invest in tailored developments for each geographical zone” — Christophe VIRY.
