Generix Ushers in a New Era of Intelligent Commerce for Retailers with AI-Driven Innovation Read the press release

Operating since 1971, Transit has grown to become Eastern Canada’s largest auto parts distributor. The company manufactures high-quality, advanced car parts and offers an extensive range of parts and accessories for cars, light trucks, and trailers.

“This project allowed us to reach a new milestone. Without SOLOCHAIN, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve our growth objectives. The Generix team knew how to adapt, listen, and act to make our project a success.”
Isabelle Labrie, Executive Vice-President at Transit.

Selection
After a rigorous evaluation of seven providers, Transit selected Solochain WMS from Generix Group for its integration capabilities, technical flexibility, and the quality of its implementation team. The collaborative approach and personalized demonstrations allowed Transit to validate the solution in real-world scenarios using its own data.
Deployment
The implementation project was carried out in several phases:

Since implementing the SOLOCHAIN WMS, Transit has optimized its warehouse operations to handle a threefold increase in order volume. The solution enables efficient order management through prioritization and categorization based on shipping method, delivery date, product specifics, and customer type. Additionally, operational teams have rapidly adapted thanks to a familiar RF interface, significantly reducing training time for new employees and when introducing new procedures.

Transit continues to pursue a strategy of ongoing expansion across Canada. Following the opening of several recent branches, the company will launch a new warehouse in Calgary in early 2026, fully equipped with Solochain WMS. This site will strengthen logistics capacity in Western Canada and demonstrate Transit’s commitment to investing in modern, high-performance infrastructure. Additional locations are also being considered, notably in Toronto, to support the company’s sustained growth and ensure optimized national coverage. Through the progressive integration of Solochain at its strategic sites, Transit is consolidating its operational efficiency while preparing for the future.
