About Solinest
Solinest is a major player on the French and European sweet distribution market, acting as an intermediate between manufacturers (Ricola, Tetley, Fisherman’s Friend, etc.) and supermarkets (Auchan, Carrefour, etc.). It describes itself as a “market organiser”.
Installed solution
As a service provider for its industrial customers, Solinest wanted a dynamic supply chain organisation in order to offer the best service to retailers, at the same time controlling its logistics costs and overall stock. The company opted for the VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) solution by Generix Group. The wealth of functions, its flexibility and ergonomics resulted in the successful start-up of the VMI, rolled out with several partners.
Benefits obtained
Now, more than 25% of Solinest’s turnover is processed by GCS Replenishment, which represents 35 warehouses and 150 references. Fill rate is over 99.5% in the shops covered by the VMI.

VMI has reduced stocks at retailers by half.
