Success Story – SONEPAR
Boost Supply Chain efficiency with Generix TMS and WMS systems
Generix announces the appointment of Yannick Gloaguen as New Vice President IT Operations & Customer Care Services View the press release
Since 1995, Unilever has been using Generix’s VMI solution, to meet its goals to optimise the supply chain. Over 10 countries and 125 users are now connected simultaneously to the application.
Thanks to VMI, Unilever works more closely with its customers and also controls its delivery costs. Exploiting data obtained through the VMI process (sales and stocks) allows it to be more responsive and gives it better peace of mind when managing customer orders. Unilever gets all the benefits of the VMI, without overloading its Sales Administration teams. Thanks to the finely-tuned configuration and its automatic processes, teams can focus on managing exceptions.
With GCS EWR Plus, Unilever considerably improves product availability for its customers, with a rate of up to 99.9%. In the Danish subsidiary, Frisko, which implements VMI at points of sale with its customer, Netto, shelf fill rate results even reach 100%.
Overall stock is significantly reduced, up to 30% less in warehouses. Order management is simplified, and the customer makes savings on administration costs and supply structure.
